Work closely with Security, Networking, and IT Operations to implement platform standards.

Support project teams by translating architectural principles into concrete designs.
Required Skills & Experience:
Deep experience designing enterprise-scale Azure architectures.
Expertise in Azure networking (hub spoke, Private Link, DNS forwarding).
Strong understanding of identity and access management (Entra ID, RBAC).
Hands-on experience with governance, policy, and cloud security patterns.
Ability to create clear documentation and architectural guidelines.
Comfortable working in international, cross-cultural delivery setups.
Strong communication skills and the ability to influence technical direction.
Required Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, Software Engineering.
AZ 305: Azure Solutions Architect Expert Preferred.
AZ 500: Azure Security Engineer or SC 100: Cybersecurity Architect.
Recommended:
HashiCorp Terraform Associate (beneficial for IaC alignment)
Foundational (nice to have):
AZ 900: Azure Fundamentals
AZ 103/104: Azure Administrator
•About the Role
As a Cloud Platform Architect, you are the strategic owner of Royal IHC’s Azure platform foundations. You ensure our cloud landscape is secure, scalable, and fully aligned with the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and Azure Well Architected Framework (WAF). You will also act as the primary architectural liaison between our emerging offshore cloud team and the enterprise architecture function at Royal IHC.
You will define platform direction, establish technical guardrails, mentor engineering teams, and safeguard architectural quality in all cloud decisions.
Responsibilities:
Platform Architecture & Governance
Design and continuously refine the Azure Landing Zone architecture.
Define subscription topology and management group hierarchy.
Develop and govern platform-wide Azure Policy standards.
Own and maintain Architectural Decision Records (ADRs).
Ensure full compliance with CAF (Ready, Govern, Manage) and WAF principles.
Cloud Strategy & Optimization
Drive FinOps reviews and cost optimization initiatives.
Evaluate platform performance, security posture, and operational resilience.
Contribute to long-term cloud roadmap and enterprise architecture alignment.
Leadership & Collaboration
Act as the principal architecture interface for the offshore India-based team.
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to DevOps and Infrastructure Engineers.
