We're looking for a talented Senior Cable Engineer to play a key role in ensuring the technical success of our clients subsea/cable projects. Job Overview:
As a Subsea Project Engineer, you will be the driving force behind the technical direction of our clients cable installation projects. Your expertise will help guide the project through every stage, from planning and procurement to execution and delivery. You'll collaborate with internal teams, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring smooth communication and seamless project delivery.

Scope of Work:

  • Project Documentation Management: Oversee the creation and review of essential project documentation, such as cable route plans, PLGR (Pre-Lay Grapnel Run) planning, and survey scopes.
  • Supplier & Subcontractor Engagement: Lead negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors to secure necessary cable-related components and services.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as the technical liaison between the project team and key stakeholders, ensuring alignment and providing expert input during high-level meetings.
  • Technical Leadership: Address technical challenges proactively, limit risks and ensure the project is on track from a technical standpoint.
  • Project Reporting: Provide regular updates to the Lead Engineer and Project Manager, maintaining transparent communication on project progress and risks.

Job requirements

Our Right Fit:

  • Experience: Significant experience in subsea or underground cable installation projects, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in managing cable systems documentation, procurement processes, and cable-related components such as PLGR, CPS, and survey methodologies.
  • Leadership & Communication Skills: Strong leadership abilities to manage teams, guide subcontractors, and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Location: You have to be based in the Netherlands or Belgium.
  • Qualifications: A degree in Engineering (or equivalent) with relevant experience in the cable installation field.

MARITIME

50 years of history in manning ships, we provide crew for tugs, multicats, coasters, containerships and jackup vessels. IN 2018 we had in towage, offshore and dreding an average of 232 seafarers a day working through us. CSC crewing provides qualified crew members of all ranks in the maritime industry. We know that highly trained and reliable seafarers are the core assets of all successful companies and we can provide the right match. Our offices in Vlissingen, Lithuania and the Phillipines have created a loyal pool of seafarers in the 50 years that we are in business.

PROJECT STAFFING

We provide project based staff for longer and shorter periods. On and offshore riggers, welders and crane operators, we can supply you with qualified personnel.
