Are you a proactive engineer eager to make an impact in offshore projects? N-Sea is a leading provider of integrated solutions for subsea infrastructure and assets in the offshore wind and oil & gas markets. N-Sea, is on the lookout for a Project Engineer to support our UXOcontrol team in delivering impactful projects!

As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in executing projects for our UXOcontrol business line. Your self-motivated approach will drive you to act as spin in the web between client, project manager, operations, assets and subcontractors. Always with the aim to execute projects as efficient as possible meeting client requirements. You will work collaboratively with our operations team to pinpoint critical success factors, propose optimal solutions, assess risks, and incorporate them into projects. Under the guidance of the Project Manager, you will maintain contact with clients during project execution, ensuring their expectations are met and capturing valuable lessons for future projects.

Key responsibilities
• Organise and track engineering project timelines, resources, and technical activities from inception to completion to ensure project accuracy;
• Guarantee that all projects meet relevant standards and regulations through quality checks, budget monitoring, and deliverable assessments;
• Serve as the technical liaison, interpreting client needs and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project;
• Ensure adherence to compliance standards and provide regular project updates to stakeholders;
• Oversee and update the Business Management System (BMS) documents for UXOcontrol in line with industry regulations;
• Manage procurement, maintenance, and operational readiness of UXO equipment, ensuring it is field-ready;
• Foster initiatives that integrate new technologies and methodologies to enhance UXO processes;
• Ensure all UXO activities align with local regulations and operational methods;
• Direct the technical aspects of projects and develop specific plans detailing safety protocols and equipment requirements;
• Hold reviews post-project completion to document best practices and insights for future improvements.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Hydrographical, Applied Geophysics, or Marine Engineering) or equivalent technical certification;
• A minimum of 3 years in UXO or EOD industries with proven experience;
• Experience in the oil & gas or renewable energy sector is an advantage;
• Excellent communication skills in English;
• A flexible, self-driven approach;
• Top-notch time management;
• Proficiency in project management software, along with a solid understanding of quality and safety requirements in marine UXO operations.
