N-Sea is looking for a detail-oriented Offshore CAD Engineer to join our engineering team.
In this role, you will be responsible for creating and managing accurate technical drawings and 3D models that support the design and installation of offshore structures and subsea systems. You will collaborate closely with structural and project engineers to ensure that all designs meet industry standards, project specifications, and safety requirements. Your precision and technical expertise will play a key role in the successful execution of our offshore operations.
Key responsibilities:
• Creating overview layout drawings of deck equipment on vessels ranging in length from 30m to 120m.
• Drafting detailed sea fastening drawings for equipment such as A-frames and grillages on deck.
• Preparing storyboards for offshore operations, including lifting operations and cable pull-ins.
• Translating innovative ideas into sketch drawings for use in innovation pro-jects.
• Ensuring all drawings comply with client requirements and N-Sea standards.
• Managing the storage, organization, and distribution of incoming and outgoing drawings in accordance with company workflows.
• Any other task within your capabilities as reasonably requested by the company.
Qualifications:
• At least 3 year of relevant work experience in a maritime or offshore environ-ment.
• Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
• Advanced knowledge of ICT tools, document management systems, and pro-efficiency in AutoCAD, Inventor and Vault (preferred).
• A team-oriented mindset with strong collaboration skills.
• Proactive and independent work approach with a hands-on mentality.
• Creativity and problem-solving ability to support engineering and innovation efforts
