Key responsibilities:
• Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet the company’s operational needs.
• Work closely with functional teams to ensure that goods ordered are fit for purpose and to the standards required.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, ensuring they meet N-Sea’s quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
• Provide accurate cost estimates for inclusion in commercial quotations.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure the best terms and conditions.
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong relationships to ensure continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide procurement support.
• Manage inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Stay updated on market trends and industry best practices to drive procurement efficiencies.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a procurement or buying role, preferably in the subsea or marine industry.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
