The Mobilisation Leader – Survey is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all survey-related mobilisation and demobilisation at the IJmuiden base (NL). You will ensure survey equipment, personnel, and documentation are ready and delivered on time, in accordance with company standards and client requirements.
Key responsibilities:
Mobilisation planning & coordination
• Develop and maintain mobilisation schedules for survey projects.
• Coordinate with project managers, technical teams, and logistics to ensure timely delivery of equipment and resources.
• Verify readiness of survey assets, including calibration and certification of instruments.
Execution & oversight
• Lead mobilisation activities at the base, ensuring HSE and quality standards are met.
• Supervise loading, packing, and transport of survey equipment.
• Ensure proper documentation for customs, shipping, and project compliance.
Stakeholder communication
• Act as primary point of contact for mobilisation-related questions.
• Provide regular status updates to project teams and management.
Continuous improvement
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase mobilisation efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of mobilisation activities for audits and reporting.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field (electronics is preferred, or equivalent experience).
• At least 6 years’ experience working with survey equipment and related software in a maritime survey environment.
• Preferably 10 years’ experience in the offshore subsea industry.
• Experience in maintenance and repair of survey systems and associated AE&S is an advantage.
• Practical and logical mindset; strong problem-solver; team player; strong commitment to Health & Safety.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
