Equipped for impact
We are Huisman. We design and manufacture heavy construction equipment for the world's leading companies in the renewable energy, oil and gas, civil engineering, naval, and recreational markets. Our product portfolio includes cranes, pipelay systems, drilling rigs, winches, ship designs, and special projects. With our passionate employees and global production, service, and sales facilities, we are equipped for impact during this time of transition.
Huisman's history is characterized by setting new industry standards. Making an impact. We've been doing this since 1929. With step-changing technical solutions ranging from standalone components to highly advanced, integrated systems. From concept to installation and lifetime support.
Our products range from cranes, pipelay equipment, drilling equipment, and winches to ship designs and specials. Why do companies choose us? Because of our entrepreneurial spirit, expertise, reliability, and especially our innovative solutions.
In 1982, we delivered our first-ever mast crane, a unique concept thanks to its small footprint, superior load curve, and small tail swing. This crane could lift 40 meters. Now, in 2021, we delivered the largest gripper for wind turbine installation, the largest offshore mast crane, and the largest tub-mounted cranes in the world. 203 vessels have now been equipped with our equipment. All the equipment we've manufactured can lift a combined 150,000 meters, and with our largest crane, we can lift 1,667 elephants in a single lift!
"Equipped for impact" isn't something you can simply claim. That's why we're constantly working on new solutions and systems that we believe add value to existing technologies for various markets. Solutions with impact.
These innovations are implemented in many of our products. Thanks to our extensive operational experience with a wide range of heavy construction equipment, we are able to apply the best solutions to new products and projects. To this end, we have in-house expertise in mechanical, structural, naval, hydraulic, electrical, and software engineering.
Every day, we strive to make our solutions and service levels the new industry standard. We also continuously challenge our environment to elevate innovation, quality, and safety.
Wherever you work in the world, whatever you'll be doing with us, you'll have a challenging role in an international organization. You'll be part of a dynamic and professional company where innovation, quality, flexibility, and creativity are key. You'll contribute directly or indirectly to the development of innovative technologies and sustainable projects.
