As we continue to expand our market presence, we are seeking an Operations Coordinator dedicated to strengthening our team and help us unlock new opportunities in the maritime sector.

Your responsibilities 

As an Operations Coordinator at Econowind, you play a key role within the Operations department. This team is responsible for the installation, commissioning and service of our innovative VentoFoils. You provide hands-on support to customers throughout the VentoFoil lifecycle and remain closely involved after installation to ensure reliable performance and high customer satisfaction.

You act as the first point of contact for customers regarding questions, service requests or technical issues, and coordinate service and maintenance activities with the technical team. In addition, you manage logistics and procurement within the Operations department and contribute commercially by preparing quotations and identifying opportunities with existing customers.

With a proactive and customer-focused mindset, you monitor service quality, identify improvements in processes and communication, and support planning, administration and reporting activities. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to strengthen long-term customer relationships while contributing directly to the growth of Econowind as a service-driven and sustainable partner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support customers with basic questions and service requests
  • Help coordinate service and maintenance work with the technical team
  • Keep track of service tasks, schedules, and follow-up actions
  • Assist with installation and commissioning activities
  • Support logistics, including ordering parts and managing deliveries
  • Help prepare quotations and administrative documents
  • Maintain accurate records of service activities and materials
  • Monitor service performance and report issues or improvements
  • Support daily planning, reporting, and general operations tasks

Qualifications and skills

  • MBO or HBO level of working and thinking, preferably in logistics, operations or a related field
  • Junior-level candidate or recent graduate, eager to learn and grow within an operations environment
  • Proper organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Customer-oriented mindset with good communication skills
  • Proactive, hands-on and solution-focused attitude
  • Comfortable working with administrative systems and basic reporting tools
  • Commercial awareness and interest in building long-term customer relationships
  • Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus
