SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

Logistic Executive for Industry Leader in Heavy Lifting & Transportation

Location: Pasir Gudang, Malaysia

 

As a Logistics Executive at Mammoet, you will assist and support the Logistics Manager in overseeing regional and international shipments and managing logistics activities related to the company’s operations. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth execution of shipping processes, coordinating with vendors and internal teams, and maintaining Mammoet’s high standards for safety, quality, and efficiency.


WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Responsible for the day to day shipping activity with vendors and other Mammoet shipping personnel located in offices worldwide covering all transport modes (shipping, airfreight, road transport)
  • Perform administrative and documentation functions continuously improve on the existing shipping process and work closely with the immediate superior to ensure long-term success of the Company.
  • Preparation of import/export documentation for regional and / or international shipments
  • Coordination with vendors and customers on shipment progress and delivery.
  • From time to time required to be onsite/port to oversee offloading and loading of equipment.
  • Any other task assigned by superior

SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment and Quality)

  • Comply with and implement Mammoet’s safety regulations and standards.
  • Participate in safety briefings, toolbox talks, and client-organized SHEQ meetings.
  • Use personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly and responsibly.
  • Immediately report any safety risks, incidents, or equipment defects to your superior.
  • Ensure strict adherence to quality and safety guidelines when handling equipment and shipments.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • Education: Diploma or Degree in relevant field
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in a similar role
  • Skills:
    • Ability to prioritize and work meticulously
    • Stress-resistant in case of higher workloads but also tolerant towards low workload periods.
    • Team Player
    • Strong communication skills and excellent English communication skills
    • Eagerness to learn and develop within the organization
