SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

Logistic Executive for Industry Leader in Heavy Lifting & Transportation

Location: Pasir Gudang, Malaysia

As a Logistics Executive at Mammoet, you will assist and support the Logistics Manager in overseeing regional and international shipments and managing logistics activities related to the company’s operations. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth execution of shipping processes, coordinating with vendors and internal teams, and maintaining Mammoet’s high standards for safety, quality, and efficiency.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Responsible for the day to day shipping activity with vendors and other Mammoet shipping personnel located in offices worldwide covering all transport modes (shipping, airfreight, road transport)
Perform administrative and documentation functions continuously improve on the existing shipping process and work closely with the immediate superior to ensure long-term success of the Company.
Preparation of import/export documentation for regional and / or international shipments
Coordination with vendors and customers on shipment progress and delivery.
From time to time required to be onsite/port to oversee offloading and loading of equipment.
Any other task assigned by superior

SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment and Quality)

Comply with and implement Mammoet’s safety regulations and standards.
Participate in safety briefings, toolbox talks, and client-organized SHEQ meetings.
Use personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly and responsibly.
Immediately report any safety risks, incidents, or equipment defects to your superior.
Ensure strict adherence to quality and safety guidelines when handling equipment and shipments.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Education: Diploma or Degree in relevant field
Experience: Minimum 3 years in a similar role
Skills:

Ability to prioritize and work meticulously
Stress-resistant in case of higher workloads but also tolerant towards low workload periods.
Team Player
Strong communication skills and excellent English communication skills
Eagerness to learn and develop within the organization
