SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

  • Mechanic for lifting and transport equipment from Mammoet
  • €2,900.00 and €3,700.00 gross per month (depending on experience)
  • Working in Schiedam

Do you have experience working on various vehicles and machines and are you ready to further expand your expertise? At Mammoet you will be given the opportunity and space to further develop your skills!

Our cranes, trailers, trucks and special equipment are essential for our work. You ensure that these machines are always in top condition and perform optimally. As an experienced mechanic, you play a key role in the maintenance and repair of our powerful equipment, so that we can always continue to work safely and efficiently.


WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Maintaining and repairing special machines and transport equipment. You look ahead and find smart solutions for technical challenges.
  • Do you prefer to work in the workshop every day or are you looking for variety with customers and project locations? Do you like to work in the neighborhood or do you want to see the world? Everything is negotiable. This mean that no day is the same!
  • You carry out inspections and tests and ensure that the material looks and works according to our standards and instructions. Where necessary, you modify the material.
  • Collaborate on innovative projects and contribute to the latest technologies, for example in new construction projects.
  • Work with various techniques such as mechanics, electrical, pneumatics and hydraulics.


WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • A completed education in the direction of mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, mobile vehicles, agricultural mechanization, aircraft maintenance or something similar.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the field of maintenance work. Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic systems is a plus.
  • Good understandig of English. Dutch is a plus. 
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Interest in our technology and the motivation to learn everything about the world of Mammoet.

WHAT YOU’LL GET

  • A good basic salary between €2,900 and €3,700 gross per month, depending on your work experience and knowledge.
  • Extra net compensation according to the collective labor agreement, such as \"coffee money\" and overtime compensation.

  • Work on a special and unique machine park, with which we can carry out groundbreaking projects.

Curious about the application process?

You will receive feedback on your application within a few days. The process consists of an initial introductory meeting with the manager of the department, after which a shadowing day may be scheduled. This way you will really get a look at our workshop and get to know your future colleagues.

If all this goes well, you will quickly receive a contract offer from us, so that you will be in the workshop in our red Mammoet overalls within a few weeks!
