For this position, fluent knowledge of the Dutch language is a prerequisite.

Ready to become a key point of contact for our global crew on board? As an HR Crew Officer, you will be the linchpin ensuring our worldwide fleet is always optimally and qualifiedly manned. Operating from our offices in Capellen, Luxembourg, you will work closely with your team, vessel management, and crew agencies to oversee the recruitment, selection, scheduling, and payroll of our seafarers.

Your Role

Alongside your team, you will be the dedicated point of contact for the crew, ensuring seamless daily communication, follow-up, and administration for our onboard colleagues.Your main tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Recruiting and hiring international fleet personnel, either through direct interviews or in collaboration with crew agencies.
  • Planning, organising, and evaluating fleet assignments worldwide in coordination with international project teams and ship management.
  • Managing payroll for fleet personnel.
  • Communicating personnel-related information and responding to crew inquiries to ensure high-quality internal service.
  • Maintaining daily communication with crew members, ship management, and other internal departments involved.
  • Monitoring the administration of mandatory maritime certifications and documentation, and coordinating required training sessions.

What are we looking for?

You hold a Master’s degree. Recent graduates are also encouraged to apply.

You are fluent in both Dutch and English.

You are a natural problem solver with strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

You excel at setting priorities and have excellent planning and organizational abilities.

You will be based at our offices in Capellen, Luxembourg.
