Support CAPEX planning, execution and reporting

Join NKT in a role that connects CAPEX governance, system support, and business improvement across an international organization. You will own day-to-day support, adoption, and continuous improvement of the CAPEX tool, helping teams work with consistent data, reliable reporting, and clear processes. This is a valuable opportunity to contribute to the green transition by supporting investment decisions across the business. Are you motivated by combining systems, process standards, and user support in one role?

Keep CAPEX operations stable and consistent

In this role, you will act as the main business contact for the CAPEX tool and related process standards. You will support users, coordinate incidents and improvement requests with, and help maintain common templates, workflows, and reporting standards. The role also includes governance of master data, backlog prioritization, UAT coordination, and communication around releases and changes. You will work closely with CAPEX project managers, finance, procurement,  IT, and process owners to support reliable planning, execution, and tracking across sites and functions.

Your responsibility will be to:

  • Provide first-line functional support and coordinate further support when needed
  • Maintain user guides, SOPs, and training materials
  • Govern usage standards, workflows, and documentation requirements
  • Support reports and dashboards with consistent KPI definitions
  • Coordinate UAT, releases and backlog priorities

You will work across manufacturing sites and shared functions, in close collaboration with CAPEX project managers, site controllers, procurement and  IT.

Structured communicator with a clear quality focus

We are looking for someone who is service-minded, and organized, with a practical approach to user support and process governance. You communicate clearly with both end users and management, work carefully with documentation and change control, and are comfortable balancing business needs with standard ways of working. The right person is initiative-taking, detail-oriented, and able to move issues forward while keeping compliance, auditability, and data quality in focus.

You also have:

  • 5+ years of experience in CAPEX controlling, project execution, PMO, finance, or a similar area using CAPEX, ERP, or project portfolio tools
  • Experience translating business needs into system requirements and supporting UAT, training, and change management
  • Good understanding of data structures, reporting, and integrations with finance or ERP systems
  • Experience acting as system or product owner
  • Training or certification in ERP/PM systems or project management

Help improve investment quality for a greener future

We are motivated to establish gender diversity at NKT and encourage all interested candidates to apply – even if you don’t tick all the boxes described. We believe that a diverse organization enables long-term performance, and that an inclusive and welcoming culture creates a better work environment.

In this role, you will be part of a collaborative international setting where you can broaden your skills in CAPEX governance, systems, reporting, and change processes. You will work with colleagues across business functions and sites, contribute to continuous improvement, and support reliable investment planning that matters to NKT’s ongoing journey and the wider green transition.

About NKT

Our company at a glance

In a globalised and interconnected world, with a rapidly increasing population and demand for a modern lifestyle, the need for power is constantly growing. At NKT, we have made it our purpose to bring power to life by helping meet the growing need for energy.

Founded in 1891, during the second industrial revolution, we pioneered the cable industry in the Nordics. Today, we master the fourth industrial revolution with our energy transportation expertise and cost-effective manufacturing facilities at the highest technological level, delivering lifetime value to our customers and the global society.

Trusted partnerships

We take pride in long-term relationships and effortless collaborations, making doing business with us simple, convenient, and efficient. Many of our customers have been with us for decades, maybe because we see ourselves as both their local partner and international supplier, always willing to go the extra mile to ensure the right cable solution.

Performing in real life

The environments in which our products and solutions function are often harsh and unfriendly. Laying down a long sea cable on the ocean floor in an unexpected storm or repairing 100-year-old power cables in the ground of a busy metropolis is not for everyone. We know that performance counts in challenging circumstances, and that is when we deliver.
