Sales Manager – MV Accessories

Develop accessories sales across Nordic and global markets

NKT is expanding its accessories business within medium-voltage accessories and is now looking for a Sales Manager. In this role, you will work closely with customers, partners, and internal teams to support the green transition through reliable power infrastructure. You will be part of a global company with a clear growth journey and a collaborative culture. Do you want to be part of making sustainable energy transmission possible across regions?

Manage and expand accessories sales within assigned territories

In this position, you will be responsible for sales activities for accessories within medium- and high-voltage systems across your territory. You will work with distributors, wholesalers, cable OEMs, EPCs, and customers in the renewable sector. The role combines customer interaction, market analysis, and coordination with internal functions to support commercial planning and product positioning within the Accessories business line.

Your responsibility will be to:

  • Develop sales of MV and HV accessories within the assigned territory
  • Build and maintain relationships with selected customers, distributors, and key accounts
  • Map projects, tenders, and competitive landscapes within the territory
  • Building, maintaining and deepening our relationship with the Swedish wholesalers
  • Strategic planning and excision of market strategies
  • Provide market intelligence on pricing, products, and technology to internal stakeholders
  • Contribute to forecasting, budgeting, and sales and operations planning

The role reports to the Director Intercompany Sales. The position is based in Malmö, and includes approximately 80-120 travel days per year within the territory, plus limited travel in Europe for training.

Collaborative and pragmatic sales professional with customer focus

You are a person who enjoys working with others and contributing to shared objectives. You approach tasks in a structured and reliable way, adapt well to changing market conditions, and communicate clearly with both customers and colleagues. You value long-term relationships, focus on finding practical solutions, and are at ease managing both solo responsibilities and collaborative projects in an international setting.

You also have:

  • At least five years of experience from technical sales or a similar commercial role
  • Preferably a Bachelor´s degree in business and economics or applicable engineering background
  • Experience working with customers and client-facing activities
  • Ability to work in both Swedish and English
  • Knowledge of power systems or electrical systems

Contributing to the green transition through reliable energy infrastructure

NKT is committed to developing a diverse organization and culture where people of diverse backgrounds can grow and are inspired to do their best. We have high ambitions on establishing gender diversity at NKT and encouraging all interested candidates to apply – even if you don’t tick all the boxes described. We believe that a diverse organization enables long-term performance, and that an inclusive and welcoming culture creates a better work environment.

In this role, you will gain opportunities for professional development, work alongside experienced and supportive colleagues, and expand your capabilities within an international organization. You will be part of a collaborative sales community contributing to NKT’s growth and to more sustainable and reliable energy solutions worldwide.

“As a leader, I value openness, cooperation, and curiosity. In this role, you will work closely with many functions and markets, and your input will matter in shaping how we meet customer needs within accessories,” says Hiring Manager, Emil Eriksson.

We will review applications continuously, but we recommend you apply no later than 5 July 2026. Be aware that personality and cognitive tests might be included in the recruitment process. About NKT

Our company at a glance

In a globalised and interconnected world, with a rapidly increasing population and demand for a modern lifestyle, the need for power is constantly growing. At NKT, we have made it our purpose to bring power to life by helping meet the growing need for energy.

Founded in 1891, during the second industrial revolution, we pioneered the cable industry in the Nordics. Today, we master the fourth industrial revolution with our energy transportation expertise and cost-effective manufacturing facilities at the highest technological level, delivering lifetime value to our customers and the global society.

Trusted partnerships

We take pride in long-term relationships and effortless collaborations, making doing business with us simple, convenient, and efficient. Many of our customers have been with us for decades, maybe because we see ourselves as both their local partner and international supplier, always willing to go the extra mile to ensure the right cable solution.

Performing in real life

The environments in which our products and solutions function are often harsh and unfriendly. Laying down a long sea cable on the ocean floor in an unexpected storm or repairing 100-year-old power cables in the ground of a busy metropolis is not for everyone. We know that performance counts in challenging circumstances, and that is when we deliver.
