What will you do as a Warranty Surveyor?
As a Marine Warranty Surveyor, you will have an important role in ensuring the safety and compliance of complex marine and offshore transports and operations. From reviewing transport and installation plans to conducting on-site inspections and issuing certificates, from a team of hands-on surveyors and supported by a back-office team you will be the trusted the link between clients, contractors, and insurers.
You will:
independently inspect transport preparations, operations and transports;
review engineering documentation and method statements for compliance with warranty assignment requirements;
conduct on-site surveys for heavy-lift, towing, and installation activities;
issue certificates and provide clear, pragmatic and actionable advice to clients;
collaborate with international stakeholders and travel to project locations worldwide.
Who you are:
an experienced marine professional with a background in marine / naval professions, in naval architecture, mechanical engineering, or civil engineering;
skilled in risk assessment and compliance for offshore transport and installation;
analytical, curious, and ready to take initiative;
plus a strong capacity for independent work, paired with effective communication and coordination with all stakeholders;
Education: MTS or HTS (Higher Technical School) in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or Maritime Colleges;
fluent in English and Dutch;
excited to grow in a fast-paced, international environment.
