General Task Management
  • Manage all quality-related issues within the diving team (e.g. Internal, supplier, customer and customer warranty)
  • Identify root cause and instigate permanent corrective actions for product quality issues.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve quality issues that arise as quickly and efficiently as possible to prevent compromising quality and safety standards.
  • Carry out product and process auditing.
  • Ensure control plans and associated documentation are implemented effectively and maintained.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams in the development of new products or changes related to current products in meeting customer requirements.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement activities.
  • Quality control of work by appropriate reviews
  • Support and lead process improvement activities
  • Write reports and present progress at project meetings and to clients.
  • Achieve goals within budget.
 People Management
  • Support groups of technicians and engineers
  • Provide guidance and necessary training to other team members
Relationship Management
  • Support regular inspection meetings with representatives from appropriate departments to establish an action plan for improving build quality
  • Communicate efficiently throughout the shop floor and with own and customer’s management
  • Liaise and communicate with other departments, customers, suppliers and other service providers
QHSSE
  • All activities must be executed in accordance with the company’s Integrated Management System (IMS) to ensure compliance with the company’s ISO accreditation.
  • Adhere to departmental & interdepartmental business processes.
  • The employee shall adhere to all company Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies, procedures, and work standards.
  • The employee has the AUTHORITY to STOP WORK should an unsafe act or condition be observed to ensure compliance with OH&S regulations and to achieve a ZERO HARM working environment.
  • There is an obligation on the employee to report such observations and interventions to the HSE Manager or Management
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field plus at least 5 years’ experience in a Quality Management environment in similar role.
  • DIVING System IMCA Design auditor. (Strongly advantageous)
Further requirements:
  • Certified ISO Internal Auditor
  • Experience at working both independently and in a collaborative, collaborative environment is essential.
  • ISO Internal Auditor
  • Knowledge in Industrial Standards Such as IMCA, ASME, AWS, API
  • Knowledge in Classification Rules such as ABS, DNV, Lloyds BV Etc.,
  • Advanced proficiency in full MS Office suit
  • Deep knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools
