What will you do as a Project Engineer?
As a Project Engineer, you will work on multiple engineering queries arising across assignments of varying complexity. You will support projects and address technical aspects from clients such as insurers, shipowners and other stakeholders.
You carry out inspections on vessels, structures and installations, to and assess complex mechanical and maritime engineering matters. In addition, you coordinate projects and contribute to different phases of the process, both in the office and on-site.
You translate your findings into clear reports and advice for clients. Where necessary, you will perform inspections and assignments abroad.
Who you are:
you have a degree in mechanical engineering, maritime engineering, or shipbuilding (HTS or university level);
you have experience (approximately 2 - 5 years) in a mechanical, maritime, or shipbuilding engineering environment;
you have experience working on projects;
you are analytical and take initiative;
you are able to work independently and in a structured manner;
you have strong communication skills and are a good discussion partner for clients;
you are fluent in Dutch and English;
you are committed and a team player.
