SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

Join our team as a Transport Supervisor, supporting our Port Hedland Branch Heavy Haulage Operations. This FIFO role (4:2 roster) offers exposure to various sites across the Pilbara and is open to candidates flying from any Australian capital city,  Auckland NZ OR being based locally in Port Hedland.

As a Transport Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in leading Mammoet’s Heavy Haulage operations and projects across the Pilbara. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and coordinate the safe and efficient transport of oversized items, ensuring full compliance with local legislation and regulations.

We’re looking for an experienced and proactive Supervisor who’s ready to take ownership of their team and service a range of clients. In this role, you’ll be accountable for maintaining the highest standards of safety, performance, and service delivery for both our employees and clients.


WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Execute safe and efficient transportation of equipment and personnel

  • Managing and monitoring personnel fatigue and safe work practices

  • Lead a team with a range of different roles and skillsets

  • Provide direction and expert industry knowledge to your teams

  • Effective supervision of the job progress whilst ensuring client satisfaction

  • Ensuring all work is carried out safely and effectively and in accordance with relevant legislation


WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • 2 years Supervising experience in Heavy Haulage Transport operations preferably within the mining industry

  • Current and valid Australian Driver's Licence (MC Preferred)

  • Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor qualification (Preferred but not essential)

  • Previous experience as a Heavy Haulage Truck driver involving platforms floats and trailers to transport oversized equipment

  • Excellent communication skills 

  • Familiarity of Main Roads WA regulations and relevant local legislation
