SAMENVATTING VAN DE ROL

  • Logistics coordinator for heavylift and transport projects
  • €3,800 – €5,500 gross per month based on a 40-hour work week (depending on experience)
  • Working at Schiedam, The Netherlands

WAT JE GAAT DOEN

  • Procurement and coordination of worldwide supply chains involving airfreight-, container- and project cargo shipments;
  • Establish new and maintain current relationships with forwarders and shipping companies;
  • Negotiate prices and arrange transports, on all transport modes, according to prescribed deadlines and requirements;
  • Close cooperation and support of Mammoet worldwide satellite offices and global regions;
  • Sales support by drafting supply chain budgets;
  • Coordinating customs imports and exports of goods in Europe in cooperation with internal asset and equipment departments and Mammoet’s regional customs agency network;
  • Supporting Mammoet in maintaining and improving its regional customs and trade compliance by driving change initiatives aiming at improving import and export processes.

WAT JE NODIG HEBT

  • Strong negotiation skills and affinity to bargain, ability to analyze data, report findings and advise on strategic direction in relation to your role;
  • Team player, excellent interpersonal and good reasoning skills;
  • Meticulous/accurate;
  • Ability to motivate yourself – being a self-starter!
  • Secondary vocational education preferable STC (scheepvaart en transport college) or bachelor degree, with experience in a customer / operations focused role within the logistics industry;
  • Excellent English communication skills and strong ability to present information in a clear and structured manner;
  • Experience in the shipping and/or forwarding industry (preferably within the project cargo shipping industry).
  • Experience in project cargo vessel chartering.
