Royal IHC is actief in complexe maritieme defensieprojecten met een hoge mate van technische, logistieke en contractuele complexiteit. Voor deze projecten zoeken wij een Senior Project Buyer die integraal verantwoordelijk is voor de inkoop binnen (inter)nationale Defence-trajecten.

In deze rol stuur je alle inkoopactiviteiten aan binnen grootschalige, multidisciplinaire projecten. Je borgt tijdige levering van materialen, equipment en diensten, binnen budget en volgens strikte kwaliteits-, compliance- en veiligheidseisen. Je opereert op het snijvlak van techniek, contracten en projectvoortgang en bent een cruciale schakel in het behalen van projectmijlpalen.

De rol:

Als Senior Project Buyer ben je verantwoordelijk voor:

Ontwikkelen en uitvoeren van inkoopstrategieën passend bij projectplanning, budget en scope.
Opstellen en bewaken van inkoopplanningen voor toegewezen werkpakketten zoals romp, outfitting en systemen.
Selecteren, kwalificeren en contracteren van leveranciers van materialen en equipment.
Onderhandelen over contracten en raamovereenkomsten (o.a. subcontracts, MSA’s, SLA’s).
Beheren van key suppliers en monitoren van prestaties op kwaliteit, levering en compliance.
Coördineren van leveranciersaudits en kwalificatieprocessen conform interne standaarden en wet- en regelgeving.
Intensieve samenwerking met engineering en projectteams om technische specificaties en eisen te borgen.
Fungeren als single point of contact voor inkoop binnen het project.
Leveren van input voor budgetten en kostenramingen voor materialen en diensten.
Borgen van naleving van maritieme en defensieregelgeving (o.a. IMO, SOLAS, CLASS, AQAP, USCG).
Uitvoeren van leveranciersrisicoanalyses en implementeren van mitigerende maatregelen.
Uitvoeren van kostenanalyses en bewaken van inkoop-KPI’s.
Opstellen van periodieke inkoop- en voortgangsrapportages richting projectmanagement.
Kritisch beoordelen van specificaties en aandragen van kostenbesparende alternatieven zonder concessies aan kwaliteit of compliance.
Volgen van marktontwikkelingen en innovaties binnen scheepsbouw en maritieme technologie.

Functie-eisen:

Afgeronde hbo- of wo-opleiding in Supply Chain Management, Bedrijfskunde, Engineering of een vergelijkbare richting.
Minimaal 8 jaar ervaring in inkoop, waarvan ten minste 2 jaar in een senior rol binnen de scheepsbouw of zware industriële projecten.
Professionele certificeringen (CIPS, CPSM, NEVI of gelijkwaardig) zijn een pré.
Kennis van AQAP-standaarden en ervaring met kwaliteitsmanagement binnen defensieprojecten is een pré.

Vanwege de defensiecontext maakt een screening (VGB) en het overleggen van een VOG onderdeel uit van de procedure.

Een salaris tussen €5700,- en €8565,- bruto per maand, plus 8% vakantiegeld.
