The role
Ben jij analytisch, gestructureerd en geïnteresseerd in complexe maritieme projecten? Wil jij je ontwikkelen in het commerciële hart van toonaangevende scheepsreparatie- en conversieprojecten, waaronder opdrachten voor de Koninklijke Marine? Dan is dit jouw kans!
 

Als Junior Tender Manager maak je deel uit van het Tender Management team binnen de Offshore & Conversion groep. In deze rol ondersteun je bij het voorbereiden, coördineren en indienen van tenders voor complexe shiprepair- en conversionprojecten.

De focus ligt voornamelijk op tenders voor de Koninklijke Marine en buitenlandse marines, waarbij je nauw samenwerkt met de Tender Manager Navy. Daarnaast ondersteun je andere Tender Managers bij uiteenlopende tenders.
 

Dit is nadrukkelijk een ontwikkel- en leerfunctie. Onder begeleiding van ervaren Tender- en Commercial Managers word je ingewijd in alle onderdelen van het tenderproces. Commerciële, contractuele en strategische eindbeslissingen liggen bij de verantwoordelijke Tender en Commercial Managers.
 

Key accountabilities

  • Ondersteunen van de Tender Manager bij de voorbereiding en coördinatie van tenders
  • Analyseren van ITT-documentatie en vertalen naar planning en tenderaanpak
  • Coördineren en samenvoegen van input van interne disciplines
  • Voorbereiden van tendermeetings en bewaken van voortgang en mijlpalen
  • Reviewen en beheren van tenderdocumentatie (incl. SharePoint versiebeheer)
  • Ondersteunen bij tenderindiening, klantclarificaties en contracthandover
  • Analyseren van kosten, offertes en risico’s
  • Bijdragen aan procesverbeteringen, templates en pre-kwalificaties

Skills & experience

Je past goed binnen deze rol als je jezelf herkent in het volgende:

  • HBO werk- en denkniveau
  • Sterke organisatorische en planmatige vaardigheden
  • In staat om meerdere taken te prioriteren en gestructureerd te werken
  • Nauwkeurig, analytisch en aandacht voor detail
  • Proactieve houding en duidelijke leergierigheid
  • Interesse in de maritieme sector, ship repair, refit en conversie
  • Basiskennis van projectplanning is een pré
  • Goede MS Office-vaardigheden (Excel en Word; MS Project is een plus)
  • Affiniteit met digitale tools en AI-ondersteunde werkwijzen is een pré
  • Goede beheersing van zowel Nederlands als Engels, in woord en geschrift
    (Communicatie met de Royal Netherlands Navy verloopt veelal in het Nederlands)

Damen Shiprepair & Conversion (DSC) has a worldwide network of 18 repair and conversion yards with drydocks ranging up to 420 x 80 metres. DSC yards have extensive experience – completing more than 1,300 projects every year, from normal drydockings for scheduled maintenance to damage repair, right up to extensive refit and conversion projects.

Services

Being active in the maritime industry demands continuous vessel reliability. For nearly all vessel types Damen offers a broad range of services, including maintenance, spare parts delivery, training and the transfer of shipbuilding know-how.

Components

Damen is also specialised in the design and production of various marine components including propeller nozzles, rudders, special towing winches, anchors, anchor chains and steel works.
