As a Store Keeper & Inventory Coordinator, you play a crucial role in ensuring the availability, quality, and maintenance of critical spares, inventory, tools, and equipment. Your work directly supports asset availability and successful project execution. You will be part of a dynamic and enthusiastic team of multidisciplinary professionals supporting our worldwide assets and projects.

Key responsibilities:
As Store Keeper & Inventory Coordinator, you are responsible for:
• Coordinating the setup of spare parts, tools, and equipment stores at the OSB in IJmuiden, including supporting the development of related processes and systems for N-Sea assets.
• Ensuring effective, efficient, reliable, and safe operations of the Asset department’s inventory and storage processes.
• Maintaining stock levels and records, ensuring efficient distribution of materials, proper preservation of spare parts, and maintenance and certification of tools and equipment.
• Ensuring accurate inventory data, including annual stock counts.
Main duties:
Your main duties include, but are not limited to:
• Maintaining accurate inventory records, including receiving, storing, and issuing goods, with proper labelling and categorisation.
• Monitoring stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking, performing regular stock checks, and resolving discrepancies.
• Receiving and inspecting incoming shipments for accuracy and quality against purchase orders.
• Organising and maintaining the warehouse to ensure efficient storage, retrieval, and safe working practices.
• Recording all inventory transactions (receipts, issues, returns, transfers) in inventory systems.
• Coordinating timely and accurate distribution of goods to internal departments.
• Monitoring reorder levels and initiating purchase requisitions in coordination with procurement.
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies for storage and handling.
• Communicating with suppliers and vendors regarding deliveries, returns, and inventory-related matters.
• Ensuring availability, maintenance, and certification of workshop tools and equipment.
• Identifying and driving continuous improvements in warehouse and inventory processes.
• Supporting and acting as stand-in for other warehouse-related roles when required.
Qualifications:
• MBO level 4 working and thinking level.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in inventory management, warehousing, or a similar role.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically fit for warehouse-related activities.
• Willingness to work shifts and occasional irregular hours.
• Full-time, on-site role based in IJmuiden (own transport required).
• Proficient in Dutch and English (verbal and written).
• Valid driver’s license (Category B).
Preferred:
• Experience in offshore and marine logistics.
• Forklift certification.
• Relevant certifications or training in warehouse, inventory, or logistics.
• Experience implementing warehouse systems and processes.
• Experience with IFS systems.
