The IT Engineer is situated within the Technology & Support team of the Digital Services department of Anthony Veder. Technology & Support is responsible to deliver, maintain and continuously improve a scalable, safe and open infrastructure, delivering solutions that fits the business needs and support all colleagues across the fleet and in the office to get the most out of this. As IT Engineer you are intrinsically motivated to continuously maintain and improve Anthony Veder’s IT landscape . You are knowledgeable and an enthusiastic, open communicator. You enjoy working together closely with colleagues and vendors/partners. To not just maintain the IT Landscape, but also identify and implement improvements. 

 

Your objective for the position of the IT Engineer is to: 

• Provide professional and adequate end-user support for our colleagues 

• Develop and deliver changes to maintain and improve our IT landscape and end-user experience in close cooperation with colleagues and vendors 

• Know the details, but don’t get stuck in them. 

• Work with our vendors and drive them to act within the Service Level Agreements and ensure Anthony Veder is provided with fit to purpose solutions by its vendors 

• Use your experiences and technical know-how to signal, suggest, develop and implement improvements for the IT landscape and associated processes.

What we ask: 

• MBO IT or HBO IT or equivalent with 5+ years of relevant work experience. 

• Experience & willingness to provide 1st and 2nd line end-user support  

• Knowledge and hands-on Experience with a Microsoft 365 workplace including Entra and Intune (certification preferred) 

• Knowledge and hands-on experience with ITIL processes (certification preferred) 

• Experience as in-house IT Engineer (Preferred) 

• Knowledge and hands-on experience with OKTA (preferred) 

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written command of English and Dutch 

• Excellent planning, prioritizing and organizing skills 

• The ability to perform the IT engineering activities in a self-reliant way 

• A continuous improvement mindset
