Are you an experienced Senior Software Developer D365 FSCM Engineer with strong expertise in X++ and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (D365 F&SCM)? This is your opportunity to join the central ICT team at Jan De Nul, based in Aalst, Belgium. You actively contribute to integrations, optimizations, and technical architectures within a dynamic ICT environment where quality, collaboration, and technological innovation are key.

Your Role

At Jan De Nul, our ICT Development team plays a key role in supporting a wide range of dynamic business processes. Through both in-house developed and third-party software, we deliver tailored solutions that meet the evolving needs of the company.

As a Senior Software Developer D365 F&SCM Engineer within our FLOW ICT team you will focus on the technical side of building solutions in D365 F&SCM, going from implementing architecture design, programming, unit testing and ultimately delivering the solution towards our business users worldwide.

Your key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Integration/Solution Architect in designing integrations between D365 applications and legacy/third party systems using multiple technologies, including X++, REST API, Power Automate, and MS SQL/Datalake/Dataverse.
  • Create SSRS reports
  • Provide feedback to improve and refine specifications.
  • Report to the Integration/Solution Architect and/or ICT Team lead on a regular basis with updates on progress, risks/challenges
  • Aid with regular quality audits related to D365 F&SCM
  • Write clean, structured, and testable code.
  • Understand performance implications of the development techniques to be used.
  • Follow established design principles, integration patterns, coding standards, and conventions.
  • Use modeling languages to understand and implement analyses.
  • Continuously build knowledge of the business domain and explore emerging technologies.
  • Deliver technical support for third-line incidents.

You will work from within our centralized ICT- team based in Belgium, Hofstade/Aalst where you can count on a stimulating work environment, a competitive salary, and a comprehensive benefits package — including the option to lease a company car.

What do you need?

As Software Developer, you are passionate about coding and bring a strong foundation in computer science — either through a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

You have at least five years of professional experience in object-oriented programming (X++, D365 FSCM is a must). Creating reports with SSRS is considered as a plus.

You have solid expertise in X++, and RESTful web services using ASP.NET Web API. You are also proficient in SQL and stored procedures.

Understanding of security design principles for both D365 F&SCM and Azure components, including the mechanisms for authorization and interaction with these components

You possess a good knowledge and can speak fluently in Dutch, considered as a prerequisite for this role
