NextGeo is an international provider of marine geoscience services and offshore construction support, primarily serving the energy sector, with a particular focus on renewable energy. Founded in late 2014, NextGeo is recognized as a leading player in its field, providing high-quality, cost-effective solutions that cover the entire lifecycle of assets and projects, from initial conception during the design phase, through engineering, installation, inspection, and maintenance, all the way to decommissioning.

Part of the Marnavi Group, the leading Italian shipowner operating in the global offshore industry, NextGeo combines the knowledge, experience, and resources of a team of professionals whose consulting, engineering, and intervention capabilities enable immediate solutions to any issue, boasting over 30 years of success in the maritime and offshore industry.

With a fleet of 15 modern DP 1 and 2 class vessels and a multinational team of over 200 qualified and experienced professionals (our most valuable asset), NextGeo offers a variety of services from specialized consultancy to geophysical, geotechnical, environmental and marine archaeological surveys, to the detection, removal and relocation of unexploded ordnance and offshore construction support services.

OUR HISTORY

NextGeo was born from a joint venture between successful Italian entrepreneurs and a cohesive group of highly experienced managers.

The corporate structure is composed of the Marnavi Group , a major Italian shipowner operating globally in the offshore oil and gas industry, and the management team that directs the company. Since its founding, the company's operational headquarters have been located in Naples , where they remain to this day.

Subsequently, to further enhance the group's growth, relevance, and capabilities, a second major operating base was established in Norwich , UK. Since then, NextGeo has established itself as one of the leading international companies in marine exploration contracting, providing support services for offshore infrastructure construction, and is recognized as a major player in the industry.

Thanks to the expertise, experience and reputation of its professionals and the high quality and efficiency of its naval and technical assets, despite its relatively recent history, NextGeo has been successfully involved in the completion of most of the major energy infrastructure projects in the EMEA region .

In 2020, to support a large offshore wind farm development plan in the eastern North Sea, NextGeo established a new operations base in the Netherlands with its operational headquarters in IJmuiden.
