Works Manager Offshore

Jan De Nul Group offers specialised services for the installation of submarine structures for the oil, gas and renewable energy markets.  Seabed preparation, trench dredging, and their stabilisation and ballasting are part of these offshore services. Whether it concerns subsea pipelines, cables, umbilicals, foundations, platforms or even entire wind farms: always tailored to the customer and, if desired, on an EPC basis. As Works Manager you are responsible for organising and coordinating the offshore works:

• Responsible for planning, budgeting and applying the correct methods.
• Ensuring that the quality, safety and environmental standards are complied with.
• Participating in meetings with clients, authorities and other contractors on site.
• Reporting technical problems of vessels or equipment to the appropriate colleagues.
• Identifying opportunities for subcontractors in consultation with the project manager.
• Negotiating with subcontractors.
• Problem-solving on the project or with third parties.
• Following up on the daily production reports and progress of the works.

What do you need to have?

You have a master degree in engineering and at least 10 years' experience in the sector. You are a born leader, highly capable of analysing and problem-solving. In addition, you are very persuasive and you have the right attitude towards safety, quality and environment. You speak and write fluent English.
