Ready to apply your software support expertise in an international and innovative environment in the Aalst / Hofstade region? At Jan De Nul Group, you will take on the role of Software Support Engineer, focusing on analyzing and resolving software-related issues for users worldwide. Based at the central offices in Aalst, you will contribute to optimizing ICT applications while working closely with developers, system engineers, and the service desk to ensure a reliable and efficient digital working environment.

Your Role

As a Software Support Engineer, you analyze software-related questions from our users worldwide and quickly and efficiently find a solution.

  • You contribute to the projects of the systems group and assist the Technical Support Engineers with software installations.
  • You collaborate with our first-line service desk and with our developers.
  • Occasionally, you also provide training sessions for end users.

What do you need?

You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Computer Science and have at least 4 years of experience in a support role. You are communicative, fluent in Dutch and English, and have an affinity with business processes. You are interested in software development, but even more in solving users' problems.
