Jan De Nul Group – Dredging
For its central offices in Aalst/Hofstade,Jan De Nul Group is looking for a Senior/Lead Software Developer who wants to deepen their expertise in software development, technical architecture, and guiding development teams. In this role, you will work from Aalst in close collaboration with analysts, architects, and developers to deliver scalable and efficient ICT solutions that optimally support the organization’s business processes.
The development team supports various challenging business processes at Jan De Nul. Through both purchased and in-house developed software, we respond to the company’s needs. To further expand our business software support for the central services, construction sites, and vessels, we are looking for a Senior/Lead Software Developer to join our team of Analysts and Application Developers.
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
What do you need?
You are passionate about development and hold a Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field, with a focus on programming. You have at least 5 years of professional experience. You have knowledge of .NET (Core) C#, web development (Blazor, Angular), and RESTful web services (ASP.NET Web API), as well as SQL and stored procedures.
Knowledge of offline applications, WinForms, data synchronization, scripting (JavaScript, PowerShell, etc.), reporting tools (Power BI, Crystal Reports), Continuous Integration with Azure DevOps, and architectural principles such as SOA is a plus.
You are able to interpret analyses made using modeling languages such as UML.As a Lead Developer, you are strong in communication, solution-oriented, and capable of guiding and coaching a team.
