Your Work Context

Due to the strong growth of the offshore renewable energy market, we are looking for a driven Project Controls Engineer who wants to contribute to innovative and sustainable projects. In this role, you are responsible for developing, analyzing, and monitoring project schedules, acting as a crucial link between project execution and strategic decision-making.

Your Role

Due to the significant growth of the offshore renewable energy market, the Project Controls department is expanding and is looking for a Project Controls Engineer.

Your main tasks and responsibilities are:

  • Collaborating on the development of a robust programme and analysing the time schedule accurately.
  • Maintaining a continuous overview of the follow-up of projects.
  • Monitoring the performance & deadlines of the projects.
  • Reporting to the Project Manager & Tender Coordinator on any discrepancies between the planned and the actual progress.
  • Evaluating alternative ideas and integrating innovative approaches.

As a fully fledged planning engineer having had on-the-job training, you can further specialise within the domains of Project Controlling.

What do you need to have?

You have a technical Bachelor's or Master's diploma or finished your studies as a Business Engineer. Basic knowledge of the Primavera software package is an advantage, but certainly not a requirement. Getting acquainted with new software packages does not scare you. You will be working from our offices in Aalst, but you're open to travel abroad.
