Jan De Nul Group operates worldwide in dredging and offshore. We provide specialized services for the installation of subsea structures for the oil, gas and renewable energy markets. Our services include, among others, seabed preparation, dredging of trenches and stabilizing and ballasting them. Whether it concerns subsea pipelines, cables and umbilicals, or foundations, platforms and integrated wind farms, we always work tailored to the customer and, if desired, on an EPC basis. In addition, we also realize leading civil projects in Belgium, such as the Oosterweel connection, the A11, the Résidence Palace and the largest lock in the world in Antwerp.
Behind all these projects there is a constant flow of documentation, and that is where you come in!
From our central offices in Aalst/Hofstade, we are looking for an additional Document Controller. In this role, you are the fixed administrative link between internal project teams and customers. Because you follow up several projects at the same time, there is a lot of variety. At the same time, through the document flow you quickly gain insight into how large projects are built up, even without a technical background. You do this in an international environment, in collaboration with teams worldwide.
What are your main tasks and responsibilities?
What do you need?
You have a Bachelor’s degree in Office Management or equivalent. Preferably, you have at least 1 year of experience in an administrative role. You have a very good knowledge of English and Dutch and a good knowledge of MS Office (Word/Excel). We are looking for a true team player who gets energy from document management and meticulous follow-up, in close coordination with both the project team and the customer. You enjoy working in a close-knit team where colleagues actively help each other and step in where needed, you are never on your own! You are communicative, enthusiastic and eager to learn, and you are open to following training in doc control platforms such as Aconex or ThinkProject. Even when it is busy, you keep an overview: you set priorities and continue to work accurately. You enjoy working in an international environment.
