Jan De Nul Group – Dredging
As an administrative powerhouse within our Heavy Equipment team, you’ll bring momentum to the entire procurement process: you ensure a smooth administrative flow, and support our sites with accurate orders and supplier management. With your eye for detail, strong organisation and clear communication, you become a key link in a team that helps drive efficient, future‑focused project execution.
Jan De Nul Group is known for its groundbreaking projects, literally all over the world and often capturing the imagination. These range from building new ports and creating additional land to realising complex infrastructure works and tackling every form of environmental pollution. A world in change, where our Jan De Nul employees like to do their bit in an innovative and sustainable way!
The Operational Procurement team strives for optimal delivery of components for our vessels, construction sites, workshop, projects and warehouse. They are responsible for purchasing most goods and services, including site-related orders.
As an Administrative Assistant, you support the procurement team with smooth, accurate and well‑structured administration. You ensure that documents, orders and communication flow seamlessly, allowing colleagues and suppliers to rely on you.
You are responsible for typing and processing requests for quotation and purchase orders, following up the complaints register, and printing technical drawings. Step by step, you will grow into additional tasks such as contacting suppliers for straightforward questions, monitoring incoming emails for the procurement department, and identifying and printing missing receipts in collaboration with the buyers.
