Wat ga je doen?

Momenteel bouwen we EasyMax-schepen voor Royal Wagenborg. Jouw taak is ervoor te zorgen dat de lassers efficiënt aan het werk kunnen. Je fabriceert en verwerkt platen en profielen op basis van tekeningen of instructies en zorgt ervoor dat alles perfect past, zodat deze schepen de wereldzeeën kunnen bevaren.

Stronger together in logistics and transport

Shipyard

Location: Farmsum and Delfzijl
We design, build, maintain, and repair ships. Additionally, we specialize in complex ship conversions.

Heavy transport and cranes

Location: Throughout the Netherlands and Hörstel-Dreierwalde
Horizontal, vertical, and heavy transport: it’s all in a day’s work for us. We have our own engineering department. The bigger the challenge, the greater our added value.

Shipping

Locations in the Netherlands: Delfzijl, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Terneuzen
Our 160 general cargo ships transport goods all over the world. From our offices worldwide, we manage everything smoothly—from maintenance and contract negotiations to crew management and IT systems.

Offshore

Location: Delfzijl
We work on groundbreaking projects, such as building an innovative ship that will transport CO2. Additionally, we operate Walk-to-Work vessels that make offshore work safer and more efficient.

Towing service

Location: Delfzijl
Guiding ships into the harbor, transporting wind turbines or a container crane across the sea, or positioning a bridge? With our tugboats, barges, and floating cranes, we handle it all!

Energy services

Location: Schoonebeek and Oldenzaal
We offer a wide range of services for the energy industry in the Netherlands, the EU, and worldwide. From moving drilling rigs and rope access to maintaining installations.

Ferry service

Location: Nes (Ameland) and Lauwersoog
Every year, more than a million passengers board our ships to travel to and from the Wadden Islands of Schiermonnikoog and Ameland.

Stevedoring en storage

Location: Delfzijl and Eemshaven
We load and unload ships, trucks, and trains in the ports of Delfzijl and Eemshaven using forklifts, loaders, and cranes. We also provide storage for materials at our sites and terminals.

Cleaning and preservation

Location: Farmsum
Rust, old paint, or marine growth on ships? No problem! With vacuum cleaning, high-pressure cleaning, and hydrojetting, we guarantee clean ships. And with proper preservation, we ensure the treated objects are ready to last for years to come.

  • Number of employees: Approximately 3,000 specialists.

  • Sectors: Shipping (General Cargo), Offshore Services, Towing Services, Heavy Transport & Cranes, Shipbuilding (Niestern Sander), and Ferry Services (to Ameland and Schiermonnikoog).

  • Preferred educational level: LBO/MBO for operational, technical, and ferry roles; HBO/WO for engineering, coordination, and management positions.

  • Preferred education: Maritime Officer (Marof), Mechanical Engineering, Logistics, HSEQ Management, or Civil Engineering.

  • Career level: All levels, including Trainees/Interns (Studie en stage), Entry-level Crew, Experienced Technical Specialists, and Senior Management.
