Verricht werkzaamheden ten behoeve van het meren, ontmeren, in- en uitdokken, op de helling plaatsen van schepen;
Zorgt voor het vastzetten van staaldraden, trossen en kettingen, bedienen van lieren, plaatsen van loop- en dokbruggen en trappen;
Je zorgt voor het onderhoud van de lieren, kettingen en andere bewegende delen op de helling en het dok;
Je bedient de drijvende bok bij het hijsen en vervoer van de secties;
Je houdt goed contact met de collega’s, teamwork is dus heel belangrijk!
Neemt de goede beslissingen als het gaat om de veiligheid van je collega’s en jezelf;
Je werkt op de locaties Farmsum en Delfzijl (dok); om hier te komen is eigen vervoer belangrijk.
Koninklijke Niestern Sander is een veelzijdige, krachtige en innovatieve scheepswerf. Wij ontwerpen, bouwen en repareren schepen. Daarnaast zijn we gespecialiseerd in (vaak complexe) klantgerichte scheepsconversies. We zijn gevestigd in Farmsum en Delfzijl en sinds 2008 volledig onderdeel van internationaal maritiem dienstverlener Koninklijke Wagenborg. We beschikken over een aantal productiehallen voor nieuwbouw, een helling en (buitendijks) twee droogdokken voor de reparatie van schepen. Daarnaast hebben we een eigen draaierij voor onderdelen (metaal). Met ruim 120 jaar kennis en ervaring mag Koninklijke Niestern Sander zich tot een van de beste scheepswerven van Noord-Nederland rekenen. Dit kun je van ons verwachten
Een jaarcontract voor 40 uur per week met uitzicht op een contract voor onbepaalde tijd.

Wij denken dat je het volgende nodig hebt om deze functie succesvol uit te kunnen oefenen:
VCA-diploma of bereid deze te halen
Actuele kennis van wet- en regelgeving rondom hijsen, hijsplannen en veiligheid;
Goede motivatie en enthousiasme om in de scheepsbouw aan de slag te gaan.

We load and unload ships, trucks, and trains in the ports of Delfzijl and Eemshaven using forklifts, loaders, and cranes. We also provide storage for materials at our sites and terminals.

Rust, old paint, or marine growth on ships? No problem! With vacuum cleaning, high-pressure cleaning, and hydrojetting, we guarantee clean ships. And with proper preservation, we ensure the treated objects are ready to last for years to come.
