About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager Onshore to drive growth and strategic partnerships within the onshore cable industry. This is a senior role focused on identifying new opportunities, expanding market share, and building strong relationships across Europe, the Middle East, and beyond.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with a strong network in the cable industry, testing and perfricated cable solutions and if possible knowledge of EPC contracting, and proven experience in international business development.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and analyze market trends, customer needs, and emerging opportunities.
Develop and implement business development strategies for onshore cable solutions.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and strategic partners.
Lead commercial processes and negotiations at senior level.
Prepare business cases, quotations, and proposals.
Collaborate with internal teams to optimize offerings and services.
Monitor performance and report on progress and KPIs.
Focus Areas
Onshore cable terminations for high-voltage connections (75kV and above).
Onshore testing of cable connections for offshore substations and onshore stations.
Prefabricated cables for turbines and related applications.
What We’re Looking For
HBO/WO degree or equivalent, preferably in a commercial or technical discipline.
Demonstrable experience in business development, sales, or account management.
Strong understanding of EPC contracting and international project environments.
Extensive network within the cable industry.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English.
Strategic thinker with strong commercial and analytical abilities.
