We are currently looking for an Operational Project Manager (m/f/x).
Do you want to actively help shape challenging projects and enjoy taking on responsibility? In our Operational Projects department, you will accompany technical construction projects from A to Z: you will coordinate the construction site, provide support with planning, calculate building services, oversee the awarding processes and also be the contact person for our customers during the warranty period - always with an eye on quality, deadlines and budget.

Your Future Role

Technical project management and site supervision of complex construction projects

Early involvement from customer inquiry, including technical design and proposal preparation

Overall responsibility for planning, coordination, and execution through to project handover

Acting as an interface between internal departments, subcontractors, and external partners

Participation in the planning phase, preparation of specifications, and procurement processes

Support during client meetings and project follow-up during the warranty period

Ensuring quality, adherence to deadlines, and budget compliance throughout all project phases

What You Bring to the Team

Completed studies or further training as a technician or master craftsman (m/f/x) in the technical field or comparable training

Several years of experience in the planning and execution of projects in plant construction or project business as well as sound specialist knowledge in the construction industry

Comprehensive knowledge of the relevant DIN regulations

Very good IT skills, especially in CAD applications, Windows programmes and Microsoft Dynamics

Strong ability to work in a team, creativity, willingness to work across disciplines and willingness to travel

A second-generation family company

The idea for ELA’s sophisticated room containers first came into being in 1972 when Bernhard Albers and his wife Elisabeth Albers founded the company ELA-Gesellschaft für Handel und Vermittlung GmbH & Co. KG. The couple was quick to identify the growing demand for flexible rooms and developed mobile container-based room solutions that could be tailored to meet individual specifications. As the second generation of the family, the siblings Tim Albers, Liesel Albers-Bentlage and Günter Albers took over the management of ELA Container GmbH in the 1980s. Today, the company is managed by Günter Albers, Dr. Stefan Leopold and Pia Albers.
