Are you an experienced equipment professional with a global mindset and strong technical and operational insight into heavy transport equipment?
At Mammoet, we are looking for a Global Asset Manager – SPMT to join our Global Asset Management team. In this role you will take responsibility for the global fleet of Self-Propelled Modular Transporters (SPMTs) and ensure optimal utilization, technical condition and strategic deployment across projects worldwide.
You will work closely with asset teams, project teams, engineering, equipment management departments (EMD), and planning teams across the organization to ensure that the right equipment is available, in the right condition, at the right time.
This position plays a key role in supporting Mammoet’s global operations, optimizing the worldwide planning of SPMT’s and by doing this maintaining the high standards required for complex heavy lifting and transport projects.

Managing and optimizing the global SPMT fleet across Mammoet, including:
Overseeing the complete SPMT fleet worldwide, regardless of ownership structure.
Maintaining a global overview of equipment planning and deployment.
Monitoring equipment utilization and actively identifying underutilization, taking corrective action where needed.
Participating in the global planning of equipment and staying connected to projects from an early stage to provide expert advice on equipment selection.
Ensuring that the correct equipment, in the correct condition, is selected for projects worldwide.
Monitoring the technical condition of the fleet under your responsibility in close cooperation with the Equipment Management Department (EMD).
Ensuring equipment meets Mammoet’s technical and operational standards.
Acting as Project Sponsor for newly acquired or internally developed equipment, where applicable.
Supporting strategic decisions related to fleet development, deployment, and operational performance.
Traveling regularly, both nationally and internationally, to support operational needs, align with stakeholders, and maintain close involvement with projects and equipment.

The Global Asset Management team focussing direct on the different Asset groups is organized into several focus areas:
Each Asset Manager is responsible for ensuring that equipment within their portfolio is strategically deployed, technically maintained and optimally utilized across Mammoet’s global operations.
Besides these Assets roles, there are more Asset related activities in the team, like sale of Used Equipment and Shared Services focussing on Data Analytics.
