NKT, a prominent cable manufacturer based in Denmark, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Associate to join our shared service organization in Kaunas. As an Accounting Associate, you will support day-to-day accounting operations and ensure that transactions are processed efficiently and accurately in line with predefined standards and work processes. You will work closely with colleagues, internal stakeholders, and external partners, gaining valuable exposure to a global business. Process invoices and support efficient accounting operations

In this role, you will support Accounts Payable activities and period-close procedures, ensuring accuracy and high-quality delivery. Based in our Kaunas office, you will operate in an international and ethical business environment with a clear priority on sustainability. You will manage your own tasks while collaborating closely with the team to deliver timely results and support internal customers.

Your responsibility will be to:

• Process and book incoming invoices in accordance with established procedures.
• Handle supplier and stakeholder inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Participate in period-close procedures for Accounts Payable.
• Support assigned projects and work cross-functionally across the organization.
• Assist team members and carry out other tasks delegated by the line manager.

The position is based in Kaunas and offers close collaboration with colleagues across NKT’s finance organization.

You also have:

• A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, higher commercial certificate, or similar (students or recent graduates are welcome)
• An attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of accounting principles.
• English language skills suitable for a professional working environment.
• An interest in developing a career within accounting or finance.

Salary range for this position is from 1640 Eur to 1700 Eur Gross.
