Play a key role as our new HSE Specialist

 Can you take our production plant in Warszowice to the next level within HSE?

 If you have solid experience within HSE, and you are looking for an opportunity to utilize the full palette of your knowledge in a role with maximum impact, this is just the right job for you.  Broad responsibility from concept development to training

Based at the site in Warszowice your responsibility covers local HSE activities in the Polish plant of the Applications Business Line. You have two overall goals: One is to support the customers’ satisfaction and NKT’s HSE performance by ensuring compliance with all relevant standards. The other is to minimize hazards and injuries with the ambitious goal of having zero incidents. Both parts require networking, collaboration and visibility.

 Your primary tasks will be:

  • Supervising the compliance of procedures and documentation with the requirements of health and safety regulations, fire protection and environmental protection
  • Implementation of security procedures
  • Active participation in creating occupational risk assessments
  • Maintaining accident documentation
  • Conducting initial Health and Safety training
  • Managing HSE projects
  • Preparing reports and summaries upon request from the department manager

To succeed, you must be able to pass on your personal passion for HSE and make people understand why it is so important. You will be reporting to HSE Manager.

Solid HSE experience from an international organization

We are looking for a profile that can drive behavioral change/attention in a blue-collar environment where the tone of voice is open-minded and direct. This calls for your communication skills including your ability to clearly state: “Why, What, How, Who and When”. At the same time, you must be able to navigate in a complex international setting with multiple stakeholders. It is also important that you can work independently, coordinate internal and external resources and escalate when appropriate. Additionally, your CV contains:

  • 2 years of HSE experience
  • Very good understanding of polish work environment/environmental protection regulations
  • Solid experience in working with ISO standards
  • English proficiency – B2
  • Experience in environmental protection will be a merit
