Ensuring financial excellence through analysis, insight, and partnership

Do you want to take a key role in ensuring high-quality financial reporting, budgeting processes, and contributing to the financial transparency of a growing global organization? As a Financial Controller at NKT SSC, you will be a vital business partner for Global Functions and the Lithuanian entity, supporting decision-making and supporting financial performance. You will work in an international environment where your accuracy will help shape efficient processes and high‑impact financial insights. Enhance our financial planning and provide actionable insights

In this role, you will ensure accurate financial planning, reporting, and controlling for the Lithuanian entity, while acting as a trusted partner to support functions. You will provide financial analyses, monitor KPIs, challenge spending, and support both OPEX and CAPEX management. You will also play a crucial role in improving budgeting processes and implementing process enhancements that increase financial accuracy and operational efficiency.

Your responsibility will be to:

  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and monthly financial reporting with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain and improve cost‑allocation and charge models.
  • Ensure correct cost treatment, including accruals, capitalizations, and prepayments.
  • Manage period‑close activities and reporting according to Group timelines.
  • Provide insightful cost reports and financial explanations to stakeholders.

 

You will work closely with SSC Quality Manager Karolina Sakalauskaitė and collaborate with global and local stakeholders across Finance, AP, AR, TEM, GL, Controlling, Procurement, IT, and more. The position is located in Kaunas.

 

Methodical, collaborative, and detail-oriented finance professional

You are an effective communicator who can translate complex financial processes into clear insights for stakeholders at all levels. You thrive in an environment that values accuracy and collaboration, and you enjoy being part of continuous improvements. With a structured mindset and keen attention to detail, you can balance both operational tasks and more strategic financial topics.

You also have:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2–3+ years of experience in a financial controller or financial analyst role.
  • Good understanding of LT GAAP and IFRS.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP and tools like Power BI, Qlik, or Looker.
  • Fluent English and Lithuanian.

Salary range for this position is from 3200 Eur to 3800 Eur Gross.
