Support global finance operations in a growth-driven environment

You will join NKT, a major cable producer headquartered in Denmark, where we are shaping a greener and more sustainable future. As an Accounting Associate, you will be part of an international team based in our Kaunas office, working in a growth-oriented environment grounded in trust, learning, and collaboration. This is an exciting opportunity to begin or continue your career in finance while contributing to a global organization undergoing continuous growth. You will work with incoming payments, customer inquiries, and reporting tasks while developing deep insights into Accounts Receivable operations. The agreement will be temporary for maternity cover, with the possibility of extension.

Ensure smooth financial processes in a global AR function

In this role, you will contribute to accurate and timely financial operations by handling incoming payments, managing stakeholders’ and customers’ inquiries, and supporting month‑end closing activities in Accounts Receivable. You will work closely with internal teams, external customers, and other partners, building strong working relationships while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance. This is a great opportunity to deepen your accounting skills and broaden your understanding of financial processes in an international environment. 

Your responsibility will be to:

  • Post incoming payments and support daily AR processes.
  • Handle stakeholder and customer queries with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Participate in period‑close activities for Accounts Receivable.
  • Provide reports and support internal customers, outsourcing partners, and authorities.
  • Contribute to assigned projects and support other team members as needed.

 

Detail-oriented, motivated, and ready to learn

You thrive in a structured environment and enjoy working with numbers, accuracy, and clear processes. You are curious, motivated, and willing to grow your skills while contributing to a positive team culture. You will manage your own tasks while collaborating closely with the team to deliver timely results and support internal customers.

You also have:

  • Background in accounting, finance, or formal accounting studies.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of English.
  • Ability to manage tasks responsibly and as part of a team.
  • Interest in developing a career in international finance.

Salary range for this position is from 1640 Eur to 1700 Eur Gross.
