NKT is currently expanding our offshore engineering team and offers a unique opportunity to join one of the leading suppliers of the largest and most complex submarine power cable projects worldwide.
Offshore Installation Engineering Team
As part of NKT’s offshore engineering department you will be surrounded by colleagues within various offshore engineering disciplines. One of the key words in the team is diversity which we take great pride in. NKT’s offshore engineering department is highly versatile and, regardless of the competences you hold now, you will be given the opportunity to broaden your engineering and project management competences.
Our team of project engineers are based in Rotterdam. The team supports projects worldwide with engineering solutions related to the preparations of the cable route prior to cable-lay and protection works post-lay. This includes as example engineering works related to pre-sweeping, dredging, trenching, subsea rock installation, PLGR (pre-lay grapnel run) and boulder clearance. Communication across different departments within the organization and external parties such as clients, subcontractors and suppliers are a large part of the work.
