The successful candidate will become an integral part of the MARINE HVAC DESIGN team and will support our ongoing projects. We are looking for a recently graduate in marine engineering or similar fields for a full-time position.

Job Description

The position requires knowledge in one of the following areas:

  • Marine engineering
  • Energy Saving
  • Refrigeration Cycle
  • Thermodynamics
     

Additional skills will be a plus during the candidate selection:

  • HVAC equipment sizing
  • Single Line Diagrams
  • Chilled & Hot Water diagrams
  • AC Rooms arrangements
  • HVAC trunk studies
     

MARINE HVAC DESIGN offers excellent mentorship for entry-level engineers with opportunities for developing a wide range of skills within the graduates chosen field.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering
  • Proficiency to work in a team environment with rapidly changing priorities and perform multiple tasks with critical concurrent deadlines
  • Fluent in English
  • Self-motivated in anticipating, identifying, and taking action on potential issues and problems
  • Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team
  • Able to think independently and formulate conclusions consistent with the company’s high standards
  • Demonstrated high level of accountability, integrity and ethics in the performance of assigned tasks
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD

DSC yards have extensive experience – completing more than 1,300 projects every year, from normal drydockings for scheduled maintenance to damage repair, right up to extensive refit and conversion projects.

Services

Components

Damen is also specialised in the design and production of various marine components including propeller nozzles, rudders, special towing winches, anchors, anchor chains and steel works.
