Our History

From the first tanker conversion in 2003 to a large consolidated company with two proprietary shipyards in Gabon and the Netherlands, Dixstone offers a wide range of services including shipbuilding, conversion of rigs & vessels, drilling & offshore services, decommissioning, maintenance, and marine fleet management.   • Number of employees:

  • Sectors: Marine Operations, Offshore Construction (Shipbuilding & Conversions), Drilling & Oilfield Services, Decommissioning (via subsidiary Petrodec), and Retail (OCTG supply).

  • Preferred educational level: MBO 3/4 for yard and vessel operations; HBO/WO (Bachelor/Master) for Engineering, Project Management, and HSE.

  • Preferred education: Offshore Engineering, Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or Safety Management (HSE).

  • Career level: All levels, including Skilled Yard Workers (Welders, Fitters), Offshore Crew (Drillers, Divers, Sailors), and Office-based Engineers/Project Managers.
